"Anna upholds the rights of the person with a disability whilst supporting their families and carers in an honest and truthful manner drawing from a suite of skills that she has mastered in her 30+ years, these skills include but are not limited to her strong empathy, meticulous organisational skills, being an active listener, and she is also culturally competent. Anna has strong collaborative relationships within the disability community, she is well thought of within the community and she has detailed knowledge of available resources. Anna has a passionate commitment to supporting people while maintaining a strength based person centred approach to build inclusive communities that support the person with a disability to live a full life. Anna is an excellent communicator with a natural ability to build rapport with people from a range of diverse backgrounds and her warm engaging style is a wonderful advantage when working people who have experienced a fractured human services industry, her trauma informed approach helps her to engage with people experiencing difficulties."
